Who knew my fruit was this dirty? A few seconds after spraying Fit on the grapes, there was dripping dirt in the sink. The same thing was true with cherries. Rinsing fruit and vegetables with just water does not clean like a few sprays of Fit. The produce at my house is clearly cleaner for consumption--probably a whole lot healthier too.

I have exceptionally sensitive taste buds and the only flavor Fit has would be a very subtle hint of lemon. One drop on an apple is all you need. You then just rub it all around the fruit and it's then germ free. This stuff will last a long time if one uses only what they need.

I have tried several other veggie wash products, especially the ones made with citrus..they only seem to take off the dirt, but not wax. What I really like about Fit is that it is all natural and it works. You only need a spray or two and rub for a second or two on the fruit or vegetable and the wax is gone! The only disappointment is that it comes in a smaller bottle than expected.
Does Not remove wax from apples

We purchased this product with high hopes. But, it did not live up to our expectations.
We often buy Red Delicious apples, that are coated with a thick layer of wax. Before eating them, I usually clean them by laboriously scraping the wax coating off the apples with a knife, then washing them to remove any remaining pesticides.
To test this product, I removed a red delicious apple from the refrigerator, sprayed it about 15 times with Fit, from the Fit spray bottle, so that the apple was dripping with Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash, then placed the apple on the countertop. The directions say to wait 2 to 3 minutes. I waited 3 minutes, then rinsed the apple thoroughly in luke warm water and rubbed it with my hands.
Then I examined the apple and it still appeared to be very waxy. So, I dried off the apple, applied more Fit spray, and waited 10 minutes. Then I rinsed the apple, but it still appeared to shine from a wax coating.
I then took a sharp knife and scraped along the apple's surface, and a significant amount of wax came off. So, I am not sure if the Fit wash removed some of the wax and just not all of it. Or, if Fit doesn't work at all. Without removing the wax, there were still pesticides trapped between the wax coating and the skin of the apple.
If anyone knows what we did wrong, or knows a better way to clean apples, please respond and let us know. Thanks!
