   I bought this to use with P90x. For the purpose of detecting your HR, it does a great job with realtime signal accurately showing HR. I've noticed, though, that if the watch is away from my wrist, it doesn't do such a good job recording the heart rate accurately. The fact that it beeps if you go above or below the HR zone is useful, but I wish it had additional features - the least of which is the ability to tell me what the average HR was for the workout so that I can compute calories. Right now, I have had to guess-stimate based on the range of HR.

   I am currently using this HR monitor while doing P90X and I have to say that it is well worth the Price!!!! It does its job and that's all I expect it to do. I highly recommend it! 5 Stars!!!

   Was looking for a simple heart rate monitor for use on the treadmill and this turned put to be perfect. Also time between ordering online and receiving was very fast. Highly recommend.

5. Didn't Work ... Don't waste your time ... Buy a different brand

   I read the enclosed product booklet that came w/ the Omron heart monitor and I followed all of the set-up instrucions, but the heart monitor just didn't do anything. It registered the time, but it never displayed anything else durring my treadmill workout. I pressed the correct button, the correct number of times and ... no change. I don't need another watch, I need a heart monitor.
