Best I've seen

I have been a green tea drinker for many years. I love gunpowder because you get the whole leaf and not bits and pieces. This is high quality tea. I I read a review saying this tea was bitter; I completely disagree. Normally you get the bitterness when you steep it too long or when you squeeze out the leaves after steeping. I have done both with this tea and still get no bitterness. I also use less of this tea than normal. The gunpowder expands so much you only need a large pinch per glass.
I've paid much more at health food stores and Asian markets, but haven't come across anything that can beat this stuff. Proceed with confidence. I bet you'll give it 5 stars, too.
Quality; strong taste

Love that this is high quality tea rolled up in little pellets before opened up in hot water. The taste of gunpowder green tea is a little stronger than we are used too, so we are trying a more conventional green tea next time.
Great Value!

I've been looking for a good reasonable gunpowder tea for some time now. When I found Davidson's gunpowder tea, I was skeptical to purchase the tea, but after reading all the reviews, I finally bought it and to my expectations, it is the best gunpowder tea I have found for this price. It seems that Davidson's offers 2 package sizes for this tea, one in a smaller 4oz box (which seems like a sampler size) and the other in a 16oz bag. Economically speaking, the 16oz bag has a better price for its value and quantity of tea you are getting. VERY SATISFIED WITH THE TEA QUALITY AND PRICE, AND DEFINITELY BUYING DAVIDSON'S GUNPOWDER TEA GOING FORWARD.
Strong, earthy

I made it too strong to start; it tasted like good soil (dirt). Then I brewed 3 cups i my coffee maker using two decaf green tea bags (torn open and poured out into a clean filter) plus one rounded teaspoon of Gunpowder. Excellent! I'll try it straight, only weaker, someday, but right now I am really happy with my concoction.
Great value for some good tea!!

The bag I received was a very good batch! You can tell it was very fresh, and it makes some darn good tea. The leaves smell slightly sweet but mostly grassy. It brews in a light-greenish tint, which is a good sign of its quality. No 'other particles' in the bag, just leaves as expected. All-in-all, a great value for the 9$ I paid for it.
This isn't AMAZING tea, but it is definitely worth 10 or 12 bucks as a simple everyday tea that is great for you.
